Types of Structnail Fixings
Pneumatic:
- Gripshank Supersharpy Coil Nails – Available in 38mm, 50mm, and 65mm lengths. Compatible with 15 Degree Pneumatic coil nailers.
- Helical Ballistic Strips for Heavy Buty Steel – Available in 45mm length. Compatible with CT90 Pneumatic Heavy Steel Nailer.
- 15 Gauge Hardened Trim Brads – Available in 25mm, 38mm and 50mm lengths. Compatible with ST1850C4 Pneumatic Strip Nailer.
Gas:
- Gripshank Supersharpy Strips – Available in 22mm and 38mm lengths. Breakaway collation. Compatible with ST3025C Gas Nailing Tool. GT-IXF-24 Gas cell required.
- Metal Washer – Available in 25mm OD and used in conjunction with the GTMA-25W Magnetic Washer Adaptor.

How to use Structnail
Pneumatic:
- Ensure all required PPE is used.
- Ensure appropriate Air compressor with the recommended PSI is used.
- Connect 15-degree coil Nailer to the air compressor.
- Set air compressor to required PSI.
- Load the required length Gripshank Supersharpy Coil Nails into the coil Nailer. Please note adjustments may need to be made to the coil drum for the required length of nail.
- Disengage safety on coil Nailer, and set to single shot (if selection available on coil Nailer).
- Press the nose piece of the tool against the working surface ensuring 90-degree angle.
- Pull trigger of the coil Nailer.
- Repeat the above process for the required number of fixings.
Gas:
- Ensure all required PPE is used as per operations manual.
- Install battery into the tool ensuring battery has sufficient charge.
- Loading required number of nails into the tool. Pull the follower to the back of the tool and load nails in. Gently release the follower ensuring to control the follower by hand, to reduce the pressure of the breakaway collation. Releasing this with force may break the collation.
- Install GT-IXF-24 gas cell into the tool.
- Press the nose piece of the tool against the working surface ensuring it is at 90 degrees.
- Pull the trigger of the tool.
- Repeat the above process for the required numbers of fixings.
