The ICCONS® technical sales team collaborated with an ICCONS® dealer to supply the innovative Thunderbolt® PRO Screw-Bolt® in Stainless Steel for the prestigious Marella by Mosaic residential project, located at Surf Parade, Broadbeach, QLD.
Positioned in the heart of Broadbeach, adjacent to Nikiforides Family Park, Marella by Mosaic features 100 oversized 2- and 3-bedroom luxury residences and penthouses, offering protected ocean and coastline views. The project showcases meticulous design, high-end finishes, and a range of premium hotel-style amenities that support health, wellness, and lifestyle in a vibrant community setting.

Technical Collaboration and Engineering Solutions
Our technical and engineering support team worked closely with the project’s Façade Contractor and Design Engineer to streamline the installation process. We achieved a significant reduction in embedment depth for the façade frames by utilising the 10mm Thunderbolt® PRO Stainless Screw-Bolt® in various lengths, tailored to meet different packing requirements.
Traditionally, façade and curtain wall installations rely on expansion anchors such as Thru-Bolts®. However, with advancements in screw-bolt technology, concrete screw-in anchors have become the preferred solution, delivering superior performance and versatility.
